Chapter 7

Always be yourself, unless you can be a dragon… then always be a dragon! ©

The Bar On The Corner has a new resident, mysterious and deadly. Oscar Gold, a magnificent dragon with shiny golden scales, has escaped from a group of supernatural hunters who have been relentlessly pursuing him.

Coming around the corner to the bar «On the Corner», Oscar cautiously approached it, his eyes searching in all directions in case of danger. He had heard rumors that this place was a lair for supernatural beings of all kinds; he was counting on its protection.

Nick could not help but notice his discomfort. He walked toward him with a friendly smile. «Hello, Oscar. I'm Nick, the owner of the bar on the corner. You look like you're having a great time. How can we help you?»

Oscar's voice was tinged with fear and gratitude. «I'm being hunted by a group of supernatural hunters who want to track me down and use my powers. I'm looking for a place to hide and get help.»

Nick's eyes grew steely as he began to realize the predicament Oscar was in. «You've come to the right place, Oscar. We're not going to let them get their dirty paws on you. The Bar On The Corner is a haven, and we'll do everything we can to keep you safe.»

Scarlett, Connor, Amelia, Thomas, and Leo gathered around, their expressions a mixture of concern and relief as they sat together, their minds working in unison to devise a strategy to aid the dragon in need. Despite the weight of worry that hung in the air, they found comfort in the shared understanding that their bond was their greatest strength, a shield against any adversaries that may come their way.

As they huddled together, each contributing their unique perspective and expertise, they meticulously crafted a plan to outsmart the hunters and ensure Oscar's safety. Scarlett's deep knowledge of the supernatural realm proved invaluable as she orchestrated a clever diversion, leading the hunters astray and away from The Bar On The Corner, where Oscar sought refuge.

Guided by a sense of unity and purpose, the group escorted Oscar to a hidden sanctuary within the depths of the secret bar, shielded from prying eyes and potential threats. It was there that Scarlett's trap was carefully set, and as the hunters stumbled into it, the sanctuary of The Bar On The Corner emerged as a sanctuary for Oscar, a beacon of light amidst the darkness that raged beyond its walls.

Weeks passed, and soon Oscar began to slowly open up to his new friends. He told them about his stories, fears, and dreams. In return, they listened to him with compassion and understanding. The gang accepted him for who he was and gave him the companionship and safety he so desperately needed.

Oscar's presence in The Bar On The Corner had the effect of awe and wonder. Every person who passed by him felt awe at his majestic figure and gentle nature. Thus, the bar became a place that united beings from all walks of life in joyful memories and a desire to protect each other.

Over time, Oscar's fears gradually began to fade away, and were replaced by other feelings of belonging.

He discovered his particular strengths and talents, using his fiery breath to ignite passion and creativity in others.

Encountering gang obstacles at every turn, the hunters eventually gave up the pursuit. Finally free from the constant danger of being captured, Oscar blossomed in the loving environment that was The Bar On The Corner.
